Along with the tapers, I have been thoroughly enjoying my pillar candle and the key is to follow Alisha's counsel to burn the candle for a few hours instead of a shorter time to prevent tunneling which always happened in the past and I never understood how to use the candle when the deep tunneling prevented the ability to light it for the next burn. I usually ended up throwing the candle away. Alisha's recomendation to let the pillars burn until they reach the edges not only gives hours of enjoyment and releases a sweet scent but also creates a beautiful glow while burning.
